The final movement of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, also known as “Ode to Joy”, has served as an anthem for different regimes around the world, often as a symbol of national pride and praise for socio-economic prosperity. In Ode to Orderly Joy, the choir sings and chants variations of this familiar composition in confinement.
